The most handled container (TEU) for cabotage purposes in ports in Turkey is the 40″ Full container, and its share in the total TEU handled for Cabotage purposes is 67.88% in 2004 and 38.01% in 2020. The share of the “20′ Full” container was 12.44% in 2004 and 34.71% in 2020.
Total TEU handled for cabotage increased by 39.82 times in 2020 compared to 2004, from 18,368 TEU to 731,352 TEU.
