In 2022, 16.15% of the vehicles in Turkey will be “pickup trucks” and 3.47% will be “trucks”.
In the 1966-2022 period, the share of “trucks” in total “motor land vehicles” decreased, while the share of “pickup trucks” increased (but remains at a certain level).

- Truck: A motor vehicle with a maximum allowable loaded weight of more than 3,500 kg and manufactured to carry loads.
- NOTE: Vehicles published within the scope of construction equipment and heavy tonnage vehicles included in special purpose vehicles since 2004 are shown under the “Truck” heading. In 2002 and 2003, the ratio of these vehicles to “truck” vehicles was 30%. Assuming that this rate (30%) remains constant, 30% should be deducted from the current number of “Trucks” for the current number of “Trucks”
