In the 2002-2021 period, while the ratio of “Truck” in total “motor vehicles” is decreased, the ratio of “LCV” is increased.

Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) : It is a motor vehicle that has a maximum allowable laden weight not exceeding 3500 kg and is designed to carry loads.
Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) : It is a motor vehicle with a maximum allowable laden weight of more than 3500 kg and manufactured to carry loads.
Vehicles published under construction machinery and heavy tonnage vehicles included in special purpose vehicles since 2004 are shown under the “Truck” heading. The ratio of these vehicles to “Truck” vehicles in 2002 and 2003 is 30%. With the assumption that this ratio (30%) remains constant, 30% should be deducted from the current number of “Trucks” (864.484 units for 2021) for the current number of “Trucks”.
