The companies in the Group H business line in Istanbul serve on an average of 690 m2 area.

The average m2 used by the companies in the Group H business line in Istanbul for “Passenger Car Parking Lot” is more than the m2 for “Load Car Parking Lot”.

The areas used by Group H companies are mostly located in Anavutköy. Secondly dense districts are Çatalca, Esenyurt, Beylikdüzü and Sancaktepe. However, there is also a density in Şişli district (most likely office or central buildings). On the other hand, Sarıyer, Gaziosmanpaşa, Çekmeköy and Sultanbeyli districts have the least usage area in terms of Group H companies.

Considering the average areas used by the companies on the basis of districts, the districts of Istanbul, such as Ümraniye, Çatalca, Silivri, Şile, Arnavutköy, which are larger in terms of area and where settlement areas are more limited, come to the fore. Considering the nature of the areas used, the districts where the production areas are concentrated are; Sile, Çatalca, Arnavutköy, Silivri, Beylikdüzü. In both cases, lower land prices, proximity to highway, railway and partially seaway connection points, and excess of usable non-residential vacant areas play an important role.

When evaluated in terms of storage areas, open storage areas; in Şile, Çatalca, Beylikdüzü, Arnavutköy districts; closed storage areas especially in Ümraniye district; Shelf storage areas in Çekmeköy district; container storage areas in Beylikdüzü and Eyüp districts; cold storages are concentrated in Silivri, Esenyurt and Başakşehir districts and warehouses are concentrated in Beylikdüzü, Arnavutköy and Sancaktepe districts.

The “closed storage” area of the companies in Istanbul is 1,462 m2 and the “shelf” storage area is 91 m2. The average m2 used by these companies for “Passenger Car Parking” purposes is more than the m2 for “Freight Car Parking”.

When the companies in Group H are evaluated on the basis of the average areas they use, Şile district stands out by far as the total area. Again in this district, the use of an open warehouse area of 190,000 m2 is notably distinguished from the others. Districts such as Arnavutköy, Çatalca, Beylikdüzü and Sancaktepe follow Şile in terms of total land use. The use of closed storage areas in Group H is mostly concentrated in Esenyurt, Beylikdüzü and Üsküdar districts. Beylikdüzü, Üsküdar, Arnavutköy and Pendik counties as shelf storage areas; Beylikdüzü in the use of container storage area; Küçükçekmece, Esenyurt, Silivri and Başakşehir on the basis of cold storage areas; Beylikdüzü and Esenyurt mainly come to the fore on the basis of warehouses. All of these districts are close to the main transportation arteries on the basis of land, rail and sea transport modes, and most of them are among the districts where industrialization is most common.
