Cargo handled for “transit” purposes at ports in Turkey increased by 12%.

During the 2011-2020 period, the amount of cargo handled for “transit” purposes at ports in Turkey increased by 12% on a “ton” basis.

In the 2011-2020 period, “Solid Bulk” cargoes increased by 52%, “General Cargo” cargoes by 39%, “Container” by 146%, while “Liquid Bulk” cargoes decreased by 10%.
