The highest number of containers (TEU) handled for “export” purposes at ports in Turkey is “40 Full” containers, and its share in the total TEU handled for “export” purposes is 50.67% in 2004 and 64.37% in 2020. . The share of “20 Full” containers was 41.09% in 2004 and 23.05% in 2020.
The total TEU handled for “export” increased 3.87 times in 2020 compared to 2004, from 1,194,045 TEU to 4,618,225 TEU.
