The amount of cargo handled for “cabotage” purposes at ports in Turkey has increased.
During the period of 2011-2020, the amount of cargo handled for “cabotage” purposes at ports in Turkey increased by 35% on a ton basis.
In the period of 2011-2020, “General Cargo” cargoes increased by 35%, “Liquid Bulk” cargoes increased by 48%, “Container” by 199% and “Vehicle” by 9 percent, while “Solid Bulk” cargoes decreased by 14%.
